Cultural Memory
Making public history accessible!!
Cultural Memory is a social cooperative dedicated to connecting people, places, and history through public history, local heritage, and memory-based cultural initiatives. We design projects, routes, and experiences that make the past more visible, meaningful, and accessible to contemporary communities and visitors.
What We Do
We create ways for history to be experienced beyond the archive, by connecting memory, place, and community through accessible cultural initiatives.
Public History
We turn historical research, oral testimonies, and local knowledge into accessible content that speaks to wider audiences.
Memory Routes
We design routes and site-based experiences that connect visitors and communities with places shaped by history and memory.
Community Heritage
We collaborate with local communities, cultural actors, and institutions to support projects rooted in heritage, participation, and place.

Why It Matters
We believe that history becomes more meaningful when it is shared, accessible, and connected to the places and communities that carry it. By supporting communities in documenting and interpreting their own histories, helping preserve both tangible and intangible heritage, and creating connections between past and present, generations, and places, we aim to make culture a more open and participatory space for dialogue, understanding, and collective memory.
