Our Story
Cultural Memory was founded by a team of historians, cultural managers, programmers and tourism professionals who share a deep commitment to the documentation and dissemination of local history. The cooperative grew out of long-standing collaborations around community heritage initiatives, oral history projects, and local museum development.
We operate as a democratic, member-driven cooperative, reinvesting surplus into our social and cultural mission — ensuring transparency, sustainability, and community benefit. Our financial practices follow cooperative principles, prioritizing fair employment, ethical partnerships, and collective reinvestment in cultural projects.
